Welcome! This is the official site for the OHS Class
of 2009 Fund Raising Committee.
Thanks to all of you, the fund-raising efforts to sponsor a parent-run
graduation celebration continue to soar. We are continuing to plan fund raising events so check back
for more information.

A planning meeting was held February 18, 2009.
Minutes from the meeting are now available.
The Parent Committee List is
also available.
If you were unable to make the meeting and would like to get involved,
there will be a Class of 2009 table at the upcoming parent teacher
conferences (Tues/Thur. March 3rd & 5th) where you can sign up for
volunteer opportunities for the party. If you have not paid the $60 fee
(details mentioned in the minutes), you can make the payment at table.
If you aren't sure if you paid the fee, no worries, check the parent
list at the table. There will be a container at the table to put your
Bill's food center receipts (with orange sticker).
Fundraising efforts have raised $22,929.58 so far!

Linda Gambetty has graciously agreed to coordinate the collection of Bill's grocery store
receipts for one of our fund-raising efforts. Please remember to ask for a sticker each time
you take your receipt. Bring the receipts to the concession stand planning meetings or put them
in our Class of 2009 box which will be at the High school in the office area. You can use past
receipts as long as they have the small orange sticker on. We will be collecting up to the day
of graduation. We receive 1% of total sales which can really add up.
Our first event was the Oregon Soccer Tournament, July 14-15, 2007.
We made close to $800! Donations are still coming in. You
can still donate money. Donations of $5.00 or more will be accepted. Write
check out to: OHS class of 2009 and send to: Sue Amend, 4729 Roosevelt St.
Oregon, WI 53575.
We also made $201 at a summer track meet concession stand held July 17th
that was run with the help of the class of 2008 and several students from
our 2009 class. A big thank-you to the students that helped:
MMike Olson, Alex Sachs, Mike Amend, Jason Kornetske, Erik Vandersanden,
Phil Klahn, Will Koenig and Brennan Dow from 2009 and Brock Fritz, 2008!
